Josette Ferrer Participates in Panel on FASB Fair Value Disclosure Requirements

    As part of a live webcast sponsored by The Knowledge Congress, Josette joined fellow industry experts from the accounting and finance industries to discuss the impact of new FASB fair value disclosures. These disclosures were part of Accounting Standards Update 2011-04 and became effective in Q1 2012.

    The webcast provided insight on the FASB’s requirements, a comparison and review of disclosures in companies’ SEC filings, the SEC’s views on what should be disclosed, auditors’ concerns, and the current thinking on how requirements are expected to evolve.
