In the second half of 2020, Josette Ferrer presented to several groups regarding the impact of COVID-19 on valuations. These presentations included the following:

• “Have COVID-19 Impairments Gone Viral?” presented to the Bay Area Middle Market Group of ProVisors in July 2020. In addition to her presentation, Josette also moderated a discussion with audit, accounting, mergers and acquisitions, investment, and bankruptcy experts regarding their respective observations on company valuations and impairments.
• “What Is It Worth? Valuations” presented with Paul Llewellyn (Partner at Lewis Llewellyn) at the Practising Law Institute’s Pocket MBA 2020: Finance for Lawyers and Other Professionals in September 2020.
• “Have COVID-19 Impairments Gone Viral? COVID-19 Valuation Considerations and an In-Depth Case Study” – a two-part session presented with Terry Lloyd (Managing Director of Finance Scholars Group) at the TaxForward 4^th Annual Conference in October 2020.
